20’ Cargo Container:
1. Donations of used textbooks (300 boxes), other school supplies, wheel chair, and farm hand tools have filled our warehouse room. We have applied to Firestone Natural Rubber for donated, free, shipping from Baltimore to Monrovia, Liberia. We hope for shipment in April or May. Our total shipping cost will be about $5000 for this 20’ container.
At present, all teaching is done without textbooks. The teacher must write all lessons on a blackboard.
Thank you Gridley, Live Oak, and Yuba City public schools for the gift of these slightly used textbooks.
We hope to purchase the container that, after shipping the donated school supplies, can be used for secure storage of tools and of harvested rice.
